The more than 1,500 employees of Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) urged President Benigno Aquino 3rd to sign their salary adjustment based on the existing Salary Standardization Law.
SBMA Employees Association (SEA) president Elmer Libo said the approval of the salary adjustment will uplift the morale of all employees who have worked so hard for the agency.

May the President listen to the plight of all SBMA employees. We worked hard for the Agency to earn. We give dividends to the government as a sign that we earn profit. But the employees can not feel it. We were underpaid for how many years. Our family needs it a lot to send our kids to school, pay our bills and loans, send members of the family who are sick to the hospital.
The President said, 'No one will be left behin!' Now is the time the employees of SBMA and their families are seeking for all help to implement the said salary wage. It our human right!
