Subic to host INAP conference in October

The country’s premier Freeport will once again be hosting the INAP General Assembly and Symposium 2024 this October.

This came after the International Network of Affiliated Ports (INAP) and Port of Kochi officials led by Chief Takanori Asai paid a courtesy visit to Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Chairman and Administrator Eduardo Jose L. Aliño.

Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Chairman and Administrator Eduardo Jose L. Aliño meets with members of the International Network of Affiliated Ports (INAP) Secretariat led by Takanori Asai to discuss Port of Subic’s hosting of INAP General Assembly and Symposium slated on October this year. Member ports namely, the Port of Kochi, Port of Colombo, Mokpo New Port and Port of Dangjin, Port of Tanjung Perak, Port of Qingdao, and the Port of Subic, Port of Cebu, and Port of Davao in the Philippines are expected to join the said conference which will tackle environmental protection, disaster preparedness and other maritime related initiatives concerning member ports.

Aliño said that the agency and INAP are already discussing plans of holding the conference here anchored on environmental maritime protection and disaster preparedness.

“As one of the founding members of INAP, it will be our honor to host this year’s assembly and welcome old and new faces to our shores. We endeavor to showcase not only our port and maritime facilities, but more importantly, to extend our famous hospitality, culture and friendship,” Aliño said.

He cited that environmental maritime protection and disaster preparedness is a very timely topic to discuss, adding that a shared discussion between the ports on these topics would benefit all members.

INAP members include the Port of Colombo in Sri Lanka, Port of Dangjin and Mokpo New Port in South Korea, Port of Kochi in Japan, Port of Qingdao in China, Port of Tanjung Perak in Indonesia, Port of Chittagong in Bangladesh, and Port of Subic Bay, Port of Cebu, and Port of Davao (Philippine Ports Authority) in the Philippines.

SBMA Senior Deputy Administrator for Operations Ronnie Yambao delegated Deputy Administrator for Port Operations Atty. Martin Kristoffer Roman to take the lead in organizing the symposium, including the approval of theme and program itinerary.

He added that the two-day symposium will be held tentatively on October 23 and 24, which will commence with the general assembly on the first day and a day tour around Subic Bay Freeport.

Chairman Aliño said that it has been ten years since the SBMA hosted the INAP General Assembly and Symposium, and that it would be beneficial to the delegates to see the new facilities and developments in the Port of Subic.

“The last time Subic Bay Freeport hosted INAP was in November of 2014 wherein more than 200 invited guests from the maritime industry attended the conference. Hopefully, more guests will arrive to take part in the general assembly,” Aliño said.

Founded in 1998, INAP was formed to promote cooperation and information exchange among affiliated ports, enhancing the port network, integrating individual affiliates, exchanging information on port development, and strengthening economic and cultural relationships. (MPD-SBMA)

Traders share best practices with entrepreneurs in Subic Freeport forum

“Don’t prove me wrong, prove me right! Can you deliver?” This was the challenge sounded by Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Assistant Secretary Blesila Lantayona at the opening here on Wednesday of the agency’s “Kapatid, Mentor Me Program” session some 200 local entrepreneurs.

The program, held at the Subic Bay Travelers Hotel, tapped speakers from among some of the highly successful entrepreneurs in the country today and aimed to help micro and medium enterprises grow and attain sustainability.

According to Lantayona, from 70 to 80 percent of small to medium businesses have a short life span due to insufficient knowledge among owners on how to manage the business. The mentoring project, she added, seeks to help small and medium enterprises in Zambales and Olongapo City penetrate markets more stably and consistently.

During the forum, Paul Anthony de Guzman from the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurs and CEO of Go Negosyo, reminded participants that all entrepreneurs, big and small, should live by the vision of “Kapatid, angat lahat!”

He stressed that all entrepreneurs must lift and encourage one another, allowing small companies to benefit from and with their bigger counterparts.

Tokyo Tempura CEO Jorge Noel Y. Wieneke III, meanwhile, shared the origins of his entrepreneurial mindset and impressed upon the audience the need for an attitude of gratitude, all the while introducing his listeners to the “power” within them.

Wieneke said his business-centric mentality that originated from his infatuation with a childhood toy, which caused him to inadvertently find ways to make money through odd jobs. The same determination, risk-taking, passion and outgoingness carried into his adulthood and birthed his business, Potato Corner, which he had built with close friends and family.

The businessman would later on receive an award for sharing his insights on how to attain success.

Meanwhile, Business Mentors Inc. president Wilfredo Victor Arcilla contended that while overseas Filipino workers are recognized for their contribution to the Philippine economy through remittances, entrepreneurs play a bigger role in nation-building.

“The money OFWs collectively generated, if these were divided among the individuals OFWS, would still be a paltry amount. The OFWs weren’t going to change the Philippines; only enterprises will,” he concluded.

Asec Lantayona also urged the entrepreneurs of small and medium businesses and enterprises not to underestimate themselves, pointing out that their businesses “provide a whopping 62 percent of the jobs in the Philippines.”

She also cited the success of their mentees from Tacloban who had collectively generated P14 million after only five months of using a business model formulated under the DTI’s Mentor Me Program.

Lantayona said the DTI plans to extend the program into more easily accessible territory with web seminars, or webinars.

The mentoring session carried well into the afternoon with Arcilla lecturing on current marketing trends, followed by inspirational success stories from local entrepreneurs led by James Lee, chairman of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Council of Olongapo. (MPD-SBMA)

Subic ready to serve as major port

SUBIC BAY FREEPORT—A Cabinet member said this free port is ready to serve as an alternative facility for international shipping companies to help decongest the Port of Manila.

“Subic Bay has so much potential because of its existing port, infrastructure, roads and electricity,” said Secretary Jose Rene Almendras, who heads the Cabinet cluster on port congestion.

He said the free port was ready to become a transshipment hub for foreign cargo.

“Subic will become more accessible with the exciting new developments in Central and northern Luzon,” Almendras told the Second Subic Bay Maritime Conference and Exhibit here on Friday.

He said the North Luzon Expressway, the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway and the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway hastened travel time for trucks carrying cargo to and from this free port.

“Congestion is a reality in mega cities all over the world. The solution is to decongest the cities and this will open an opportunity for Subic,” Almendras said.

He said the government had to add port capacity elsewhere outside Metro Manila.

In a position paper presented during the conference, business groups in Central Luzon endorsed a co-loading bill, which would open interisland shipping to foreign vessels.

“The passage of the bill into law will broaden the market of the Subic free port outside Luzon,” they said.

The position paper was signed by the presidents of various chambers of commerce, exporters and investors in Pampanga and this port. (Allan Macatuno, Philippine Daily Inquirer)

All is set for the 2nd Subic Maritime Conference

The 2nd Subic Bay Maritime Conference and Exhibit will open here tomorrow (Friday), April 24, with about 500 delegates expected at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center here.

With the theme “Subic Bay: Your Gateway to Central and Northern Luzon,” the conference is organized by the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) in cooperation with the Subic Bay International Terminal Corp. (SBITC) to promote Subic as a major port in the region.

SBMA Chairman Roberto Garcia said the maritime conference will provide delegates comprehensive updates on the Freeport's “exciting prospects as a booming logistics hub and investments destination in Asia.”

He said that Subic Freeport, with its strategic location complemented by enhanced port facilities and infrastructure, “is now well-positioned to become the logistics hub north of Metro Manila.”

He pointed out that the Port of Subic handled more than the 77,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) last year, which meant a 105% increase from the 37,400 TEUs processed in 2013.

“This year we aspire to hit a target volume of 120,000 TEUs, or 20% of the 600,000-TEU combined annual capacity of the port’s New Container Terminals 1 and 2,” Garcia added.

The one-day conference is expected to draw participants from shipping lines, logistics and supply chain firms, importers and exporters, manufacturers, as well as national and local government units and agencies, and other stakeholders in the maritime industry.

Cabinet Secretary Jose Rene Almendras will be the keynote speaker in the conference.

Other speakers and panelists include Chairman Garcia, SBITC general manager Roberto Locsin, SBITC vice chairman Francisco Delgado IV, USAID Compete Chief of Party Dr. Enrico Basilio, and Bases Conversion Development Authority president and CEO Att. Arnel Casanova.

Organizers said that Almendras and other speakers will provide insights on business opportunities arising in Northern Luzon with all the investments and planning that the government is putting into the area.

Among topics lined up are the latest processing improvements at the port, the Subic One-Stop Shop which will consolidate into one location all offices related to shipping through Subic port, and updates on new terminal equipment installed.

There will also be status reports on proposed development projects such as the construction of the New Container Terminals (NCT) 3 and 4, the Tipo Road expansion, and the planned Subic-Clark Corridor and Clark Green City.

Garcia said that the conference is an expression of SBMA’s optimism over the prospects of Subic as a maritime logistics hub.

He added that the SBMA is making administrative changes to fast-track import and export processing and simplify accreditation to encourage customs brokers, freight forwarders, and truckers to service the port. (RAV/MPD-SBMA)

Almendras to keynote 2nd Maritime Conference in Subic Bay

Cabinet Secretary Jose Rene Almendras leads a group of government officials and industry movers who will give talks about the rise of Subic Bay as the country’s foremost logistics hub in Northern Luzon.

Almendras will be the keynote speaker at the 2nd Subic Bay Maritime Conference & Exhibit, to be held on April 24, 2015 at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center in Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

Themed “Subic Bay: Your Gateway to Central and Northern Luzon,” the conference is being organized by the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) in cooperation with Subic Bay International Terminal Corp.

Almendras and the other speakers, including SBMA Chairman Roberto Garcia, will provide insights on business opportunities arising in Northern Luzon with all the investments and planning that the government is putting into the area.

They will also share updates on infrastructure development projects for the emerging Subic-Clark Corridor, a growth area that is expected to improve the economy of Luzon region and create more jobs for local residents.

Meanwhile, Northern Luzon shippers intend to present to Secretary Almendras during the event a position paper calling for the further development of Subic Bay Freeport to decongest Manila and “serve its true purpose as a catalyst of economic growth” for the regions north of Metro Manila.

Almendras is also the chairman of the Cabinet Cluster on Port Decongestion, which successfully worked in cooperation with government agencies and private stakeholders to implement measures easing road traffic and port congestion in the City of Manila.

One of these measures is to designate Subic and Batangas as extensions of the Port of Manila in order to encourage ships to divert their shipments to these outer ports.

The position paper points out that the Subic Bay Freeport ably demonstrated its capability to handle volume cargo shipments during the Manila port congestion. It further urges the administration to use the momentum to promote Subic as an alternative container terminal to Manila for shippers located in Central and Northern Luzon.

The Subic Bay Maritime Conference & Exhibit is expected to attract some 300 Freeport zone locators, logistics and supply chain executives, import and export managers, manufacturers, shipping line executives, key national and local government officials, and other stakeholders.

SBMA holds 1st Women’s Summit

Womenfolk here and around this premier free port received orientation on their rights, privileges, and opportunities as the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) made history by holding the first Women’s Summit in the community.

With the theme, “Ang Bagong Pinay,” the two-day gathering sought to promote the welfare and development of womenfolk and update them on the latest socio-economic and political issues that have significant bearing on them.

The event was organized by the SBMA thru its Gender and Development Focal Point System and as part of the SBMA’s week-long celebration of its 22nd founding anniversary.

“This is a historic event for SBMA in the sense that this is the first gathering to tackle gender and development,” remarked SBMA Chairman and Administrator Roberto Garcia as he welcomed participants last Wednesday.

“I am sure that from the line-up of speakers you have prepared, you will learn so much on how we can further promote the concept of ‘Ang Bagong Pinay’ and address the issues that confront women in the workplace today,” Garcia added.

No less than Camarines Sur 3rd District Representative Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo was guest of honor in the assembly and imparted her ideas on “Women and their Careers on being a Wife, Mother and Leader.”

Aside from Robredo, other speakers fired up the summit with timely discussions on the first day: Philip Morris Fortune Tobacco Corporation Inc. Director for External Affairs Varinia Tinga spoke on “Women in the Corporate World”; Subic Bay Colleges Inc. Vice President for Academic Affair Marilou Nicart tackled “Telecommuting for Women”; Sandiganbayan Third Division Executive Clerk of Court Dennis Pulma spoke on “Violence Against Women,” as well as RA 10398, an act declaring November 25 as National Consciousness Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and Children; and SM elevator girl and YouTube sensation Cheridel Alejandrino urged womenfolk to “Be The Best That You Can Be.”

On the second day of lectures, FQ Mom Rose Fausto talked about “Financial Liberation for Women”; and Philippine Commission on Women Executive Director Emmeline Verzosa lectured on “Magna Carta of Women.”

Among those who trooped to the Women’s Summit were employees of the SBMA, workers of Subic Bay Freeport companies, employees of the Authority of Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB), and residents and students from Olongapo City and parts of Zambales.

Other activities during the week-long celebration of the SBMA anniversary were a jobs fair at the Harbor Point mall, where 10,386 job positions were opened to applicants; the annual recognition of the Ten Most Outstanding Freeport Workers who epitomize the best of what the Subic Bay Freeport has to offer in terms of workers’ performance; and the Milestone Service Awards that recognized around 200 SBMA employees who have been serving the agency for 15 and 20 years. Asian ports meet in Subic to strengthen regional integration

Leaders and delegates from eight major ports in Asia are meeting at the Port of Subic for the three-day 16th General Assembly and Symposium of the International Network of Affiliated Ports (INAP), which began Wednesday.

The delegates came from the INAP-member ports of Colombo in Sri Lanka, Mokpo New Port and Dangjin in South Korea, Tanjung Perak in Indonesia, Qingdao in China, and Subic and Cebu in the Philippines.

With the theme, “Opportunities of ASEAN Integration,” the gathering focuses on port innovations, as well as mutual opportunities for increased competitiveness, productivity, and cooperation.

The meeting also paved the way for outgoing INAP chairman Gov. Masanao Ozaki of the Kochi Prefecture in Japan to officially turn over the INAP leadership to Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Chairman Roberto Garcia.

As head of the host port, Garcia opened the conference, pointing out that the event is very important, not only for the Philippines, but also for all the ASEAN countries that rely on their ports for increased commerce.

“As with the theme, we should take advantage of the opportunities of ASEAN integration and explore the business opportunities each port and host city is ready to offer,” Garcia said.

Garcia added that the Port of Subic is eyeing a major role in Philippine shipping after President Aquino declared Subic and the Port of Batangas as extensions of the Port of Manila, which has long suffered from port congestion.

Presenting the Subic Bay Freeport’s role in the ASEAN Integration, SBMA OIC-deputy administrator for business and investment group Ronnie Yambao noted that the Subic Freeport is being utilized as a manufacturing base and logistics center by local and foreign investors from the region.

He added that Subic, along with other Asian ports, has joined the Asian Cruise Terminals Association (ACTA), which is considered a strategic move to attract major cruise ships plying the Asian tourism route.

“With these developments, the Port of Subic is playing key roles in the ASEAN integration by serving as transshipment hub in this part of the region,” Yambao added.

Meanwhile, Prof. Paolo Jamil Francisco of the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) who talked about ASEAN integration, said that the concept is becoming accepted by ASEAN countries and is now being practiced by many investors and manufacturers.

Francisco cited as an example a popular car manufacturer, which produces parts in various ASEAN countries like Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

Francisco urged the attending INAP members to cooperate with the government, “co-opete” (compete-cooperate) with other firms, consolidate capabilities and strengths, and take advantage of the challenge.

“While competing with other firms, everyone must cooperate with them on how to improve their products, and meet the required materials and supplies,” he said.

Francisco’s statement was supported by Roberto Locsin, general manager of Subic Bay International Terminal Corp. (SBITC), saying two Japanese companies are now shipping cargoes via Subic as a result of the congestion in the Port of Manila. (RAV/MPD-SBMA)

INAP members meet in Subic Freeport for greater cooperation

Regional port innovations for mutual opportunities and cooperation will be the main focus for members of the International Network of Affiliated Ports (INAP) when they meet at the Port of Subic for the 16th General Assembly and Symposium on November 11-13.

At this year's conference to be held at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center (SBECC), representatives of each of the seven member-ports are expected to present and discuss current and future developments in their respective areas.

On the other hand, port-related topics will be discussed by invited speakers, such as Green Port Initiative by Luis Cuison, manager of the Port of Puerto Princesa; Port Security by Roland Recomono, administrator of the Office of Transport Security-DOTC; and Lessons on Coastal Disasters by Ryuichi Kuwajima of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

The conference will also pave way for Chairman Roberto Garcia of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA), which manages the Port of Subic, to officially accept the INAP chairmanship for 2014, replacing Governor Masanao Ozaki of the Kochi Prefecture Government in Japan.

“We are honored to accept the chairmanship of INAP and host this very important conference of heads of ports in the region for the third time,” Garcia said.

He noted that Subic is all ready to host the three-day activity that is expected to fortify cooperation among member ports to promote competitiveness and productivity.

INAP was formed in 1998 with the primary objective of enhancing the port network, integrating individual affiliates, exchanging information on port development, and strengthening economic and cultural relationships.

Upon entering INAP, new members are required to establish a sister-port or -city relationship with any of the members.

At this year's conference, a total of 83 delegates from all member ports will be arriving in Subic for the three-day assembly, with the Port of Kochi (Japan) sending the biggest delegation.

Other member-ports include Port of Colombo, Sri Lanka; Mokpo New Port, South Korea; Port of Tanjung Perak, Indonesia; Port of Qingdao, China, and the Port of Subic and Port of Cebu in the Philippines.

The newest entry to the INAP roster, the Port of Dangjin in South Korean, will officially be accepted as the eighth member during the assembly and make its own presentation. The mayor of Dangjin City is expected to head the delegation to Subic.

During the assembly, officials from the Port of Subic will also have the opportunity to promote the area as an investment destination during the scheduled two break-out business sessions with the Port of Mokpo and the Port of Kochi. SBMA officials said this would be a milestone for the Port of Subic.

While in Subic, delegates and representatives will be treated by the SBMA to a tour of the Freeport, a welcome dinner at the Light House Marina Resort, and a farewell dinner at the Subic Bay Yacht Club. (RAV/MPD-SBMA)

P14B earmarked for LGUs’ 2015 climate change mitigation programs

The national government has earmarked P14 billion for 2015 to help beef up various climate change mitigation campaigns and programs of local government units (LGUs).

The amount was disclosed by Philippine Climate Change Commissioner Undersecretary Naderev Saño in an interview with the press during the “Hazards and Communicating Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation Measures” conference held at Subic Bay Freeport Zone in Zambales recently.

The budget allocation was made under Republic Act 10174, also known as People’s Survival Fund (PSF) Act of 2012, which states that the fund will be sourced from the national treasury to provide assistance to various sectors such as farmers, fishermen, nutrition, infrastructures and those that help in maintaining ecological balance, such as programs to promote disaster-resilient communities, river dredging and rehabilitation, and the construction of bicycle lanes.

Saño, however, said that the Department of Finance (DOF) is currently studying how to obtain funds for the local government, since the budget for survival fund is different from the calamity fund.

“Calamity fund is used after the disaster while the survival fund is a pre-emptive budget intended for climate change mitigation and adaptation,’’ said Saño.

He also said that a PSF board was formed to monitor and supervise LGUs on how or where their funds should be spent.

He added that the board will also ensure that the projects being proposed by the LGUs are important enough to merit the funds.

Organized by the Philippine Information Agency in collaboration with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, the Luzon-wide confab saw participation from LGUs in Regions 1, 2, and 3; the Cordillera Administrative Region; and the National Capital Region. Ad execs cite Subic for ‘excellent job’

Top executives in the advertising industry have commended the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) and other tourism stakeholders in this free port for the successful hosting here of Ad Summit Pilipinas 2014 last month.

In a joint letter, Alex Syfu and Norman Agatep, chairman and president, respectively, of the Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies of the Philippines (4As), praised Subic over the outcome of this year’s advertising conference held at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center (SBECC).

“On behalf of the Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies of the Philippines (4As) and the Ad Summit Pilipinas 2014 management committee, we would like to thank you all for an excellent job during our mega event,” they said.

“It is a joy working with people who understand thoroughly the purpose behind our activities and the quality standards that we uphold. Your attention to detail, commitment to the job, and quick response all contributed to the success of the first ever Ad Summit Pilipinas 2014. Kudos to you,” they added.

With the theme “Age of Enlightenment”, the four-day summit drew over 2,000 advertising and marketing practitioners from all over the country, as well as acknowledged masters in the industry like CCI-Asia Chairman Emily Abrera, Omnicom Media Group CEO Cheuk Chiang, APAC CEO of JWT Tom Doctoroff, and Dentsu Aegis Network Chairman Dick Van Moltman.

The advertising summit set out to challenge industry practitioners to make the world a better place, and provide hope and relevance in the brands and messages that they create.

SBMA Chairman and Administrator Roberto V. Garcia said the SBMA, as well as other groups and establishments involved in hosting the event, “gave their 101% to make the summit successful.”

He noted that the Subic Bay Freeport has been hosting similar conventions in the past several years after the agency established the SBECC as the cornerstone of Subic’s MICE (meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions) program.

Because of Subic’s excellent conference facilities, the Department of Tourism in Region 3 (DoT-3)named Subic as the “Premier Convention Capital of Central Luzon,” having been chosen as venue for 293 MICE events in 2012, and in the process accommodating more than 130,000 guests.

Complementing the honor, the DoT3 also named the Subic Bay Freeport “as one of the Top Destinations in the Country” last December 2012 for its wide array of quality tourist facilities and the number of visitors it generated.

“Most of the event organizers prefer Subic because it is already a complete package for MICE events,” Garcia also said. (RAV/MPD-SBMA)

SBMA gives all-out support for Ad Summit 2014

A full month before the movers and shakers of the country’s advertising and marketing industry gather here to share insights on the global creative scene, officials of the organizing group as well as the host agency said it’s all systems go for the Ad Summit Pilipinas 2014.

According to Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Chairman Roberto Garcia, the agency which manages the free port will give its full support to what has been billed as “the event that will rock the ad and marketing industry this year.”

“We will leave no stone unturned to help make the event successful,” Garcia said on Monday during a press briefing conducted here by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies of the Philippines (4As), the event organizer.

The SBMA official also recalled that the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center (SBECC), which will serve as the venue for the upcoming occasion, has been especially designed to accommodate a similar advertising convention in 2007.

“That has been the mother of all conventions here in Subic,” Garcia explained, noting that since then the Subic Freeport has been drawing more convention-organizers and participants from all over the country.

4As Chairman Alex Syfu, meanwhile, said that “things are running smoothly” as well on the part of the organizers, who have scheduled the event on May 7 to 10.

Syfu said the Ad Summit is expected to draw from 2,000 to 2,500 participants, including “rock star” speakers who are icons in the advertising world.

These include industry pioneer Emily Abrera, now chairman of CCI-Asia, the content- production company behind Living Asia Channel; Omnicom Media Group CEO Cheuk Chiang, who was named by Internationalist Magazine as 2010 Agency Innovator of the Year; APAC CEO of JWT Tom Doctoroff, a sought-after speaker in the adverting circuit; and Dentsu Aegis Network Chairman Dick Van Moltman, author of two best-selling books on Chinese consumers.

Syfu said that with such global luminaries in the creative and marketing field, the Ad Summit Pilipinas will be “first and foremost a learning venue.”

On the same occasion, Ad Summit PR committee head Norman Agatep clarified that the upcoming convention will be a mind-opening event, as implied by the “Age of Enlightenment” theme.

“The principles of advertising remain the same, but the advertising industry is seeking to play a more valuable role in society today,” Agatep said.

He added that as the “Age of Enlightenment” theme implies, the advertising summit will challenge industry practitioners to make the world a better place, and provide hope and relevance in the brands and messages that they create. (HEE/MPD-SBMA)
